Meet Dr.Lyndsay Ritchley D.C.
Dr. Lyndsay Ritchley, D.C. has been a licensed chiropractor since 2014. Dr. Lyndsay started her career in healthcare as a registered x-ray and CT technologist at the VA Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She started her second career when she attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City when her kids were in elementary school. She excels at treating neck, back, and extremity pain, headaches, as well as other musculoskeletal conditions including TMJ. She has postgraduate training in myofascial release techniques as well as the treatment of expectant mothers and addressing concerns related to tongue-tied infants. Dr. Lyndsay is passionate about treating her patients like she would want to be treated. She has witnessed too many patients feeling like they are just a number, not being listened to, feeling rushed, and in the worst cases even being laughed at by their provider for telling their story. This type of treatment pushed her to always make sure that her patients are heard, and given the best care possible. For these reasons, she opened her own office so she could offer a variety of appointment options. For those that need or prefer a quick in and out there are 10 minute adjustments, for those that want more there are also the option of 25 and 55 minute visits. She also offers headache appointment for existing patients that have an active headaches or migraine. Lastly she has a family visit, that reserves one hour for up to 2 adults and 3 minors living in the same household. All services have one set price no matter the combination of treatments during the time allotted.

How are you different?
Most Chiropractic offices offer a quick adjustment and some may have assistants that perform different therapies. Most of these offices bill you for a full spine adjustment with additional fees to you or your insurance company for an extremity adjustment, heat, ice, stretch, deep tissue work, therapeutic exercise, and whatever extras they offer.
At Luxury Spine and Wellness, PLLC we charge a flat rate for your visit. If you only want an adjustment, that is one set price in a 10-minute visit. If you want more than just an adjustment, you can choose a 25 or 55 minute appointment and whatever treatments we are able to fit into that time you pay for the time, not each and every service provided. We also offer a couple of specialty visits like a family visit and a visit that is designed for an active headache or migraine. The doctor will make recommendations for your care based on your needs as well as your preference and tolerance. After the options are discussed with you, you can choose what you want to do and if you want to try something different at a later appointment we will discuss the pros and cons of changing your plan of care. There is no commitment to one type of appointment, some patients choose to follow up after their initial visit with a couple of 55 minute appointments, then change to 25minutes, and when they are at a point where their condition has improved and they aren't in pain they switch to maintenance adjustments. Some people change visit types depending on their schedule. At Luxury Spine and Wellness, PLLC you chose us for your care and you have choices in how it is delivered. After your first follow up visit you will also be emailed a stretch and or exercise program as well as supplement recommendations that are designed just for you!
Everything is performed by the doctor so you can discuss any concerns or celebrate victories as you are being treated. This allows the doctor to better know your case and to build a relationship with you that will last for many years to come. Gone are the days of trying to catch the doctor in the hall and ask a question after your therapy is done because she is with you throughout the visit!
Do you take Insurance?
For good reasons for you and for me, I do not.
For the simple reason that I do not want insurance to dictate how to treat you as my patient. Insurance coverage dictates how often you can be treated, how long certain treatments can last, if I can do therapy and an adjustment in the same area on the same day, and how much my services are worth to them.
Insurance in the US is essentially "sick care" and I am in the business of wellness. This means that insurance is great if you are sick and need medicine to remedy your symptoms, but insurance rarely covers those things that actually target the root causes of why you are sick or hurting. Professionals and treatments that attempt to target root causes and improve your health and wellness not just your symptoms like Dietitians, Physical Therapists, Naturopaths, Midwives, Functional Medicine Physicians, Licensed Counselors, Doulas, Massage Therapists, Physical Trainers, and Chiropractors are often not covered or covered well by insurance.
